Free 24h camp in York

Since November 1, 2019 the camp for self-contained vehicles is not in Avon Park any more, but right across the river in the Janet Millet Lane. We did not stay there but at the old spot, but we walked across the bridge and had a look at the construction site of the new camp.

It also is conveniently located, just a few hundred meters into town, where you’ll find a supermarket and restaurants. But it also is really quiet there, along the Avon River. There is a dump point, but no water.

It’s well signed.
